Zenzero is delighted to have played a part in the launch of the Youth Commission of Guernsey & Alderney’s new initiative, The Bus Stop.
Designed as a “youth club on wheels”, The Bus Stop is an innovative project that brings support, activities, and a sense of community directly to young people across the island. By travelling to different locations, the bus makes it easier for young people to access services in a relaxed and engaging environment.
The project was made possible thanks to the generous backing of Skipton International, who funded both the purchase and transformation of the bus.
Our Contribution
Zenzero supported the project by supplying, setting up, and installing a Ubiquiti mobile router, ensuring reliable Wi-Fi connectivity wherever the bus travels. We also collaborated with Little Green Energy on the installation of wiring for the bus’s internal LED lighting system.
To add something extra for those using the service, we donated a Meta Quest 3 headset, giving young people the opportunity to experience immersive virtual reality while on board.
We’re proud to have contributed to such a meaningful community initiative, alongside a number of other fantastic local organisations. Congratulations to the Youth Commission team on bringing this inspiring project to life – we’re excited to see The Bus Stop out and about across the island.
