The event brought together some of the biggest names in sport to explore the trends, technologies and opportunities shaping the future of the industry. As a main sponsor, it gave us a fantastic opportunity to connect with clubs, governing bodies and organisations, share ideas and discuss how technology is helping to shape the future of sport.

Discussing the future of AI in sport

One of the highlights of the week was our panel session, “50 Million Reasons: The Expert Guide to Using AI the Right Way”, which explored how artificial intelligence and data are transforming the sports industry.

Hosted by Barry McNeill, CEO of Bloom Sports Partners, the discussion featured:

  • Michael Bateman, CEO, Zenzero
  • Wayde Finch, Executive Director, Zenzero
  • Michael J. Jabbour, Microsoft
  • Alexandra Willis, Chief Digital Officer, The FA

Together, the panel explored how sports organisations can embrace AI responsibly, balancing innovation with governance, accountability and trust.

The conversation focused on the practical opportunities AI presents, how organisations can unlock greater value from the data they already hold, and the importance of using technology to deliver meaningful outcomes for fans, athletes and stakeholders alike.

Strengthening our commitment to sport

Leaders in Sport Week marked another important milestone in Zenzero’s growing presence within the sports sector.

As we continue to work with clubs, governing bodies and sports organisations, events like this provide valuable opportunities to listen, learn and understand the challenges and opportunities facing the industry. From AI and data strategy to fan engagement and digital transformation, the conversations throughout the week reinforced the growing role technology plays in helping sports organisations innovate and thrive.

Most importantly, it was a chance to build new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships and be part of the discussions shaping the future of sport.

A huge thank you to Leaders in Sport, our fellow panellists and everyone who attended the session and shared their insights throughout the week.

It was an inspiring few days filled with great conversations, fresh perspectives and plenty of ideas for the future. We’re excited to continue supporting sports organisations as they explore the opportunities presented by AI, data and digital transformation.
