Zenzero announces the acquisition of Ontech, a successful South African business based in Port Elizabeth serving high-quality UK clients with financial services, property, and care focus. Ontech is the third acquisition by Zenzero over the last 18 months, following the successful acquisition and subsequent full integration of Backbone and Dynamic Edge.
Zenzero is one of the fastest-growing service providers in the UK and is progressing towards being the UK’s leading Managed Services Provider. This series of strategic investments have focused on high-quality businesses offering complementary services, with a similar profile of customers and providing additional talent, which has contributed positively to Zenzero’s culture.

During discussions over the past few months, what stood out in their early conversations was Ontech’s ambition and quality. Their drive to be better and challenge themselves to continually grow matched Zenzero’s vision and strategy. Ontech felt that with additional investment and the experience in high-growth businesses that the management team had, there would be the opportunity to expand further, at the pace that Zenzero could offer them.
This marks part of Zenzero’s ongoing strategy of selectively investing in managed service providers and technology service providers of a high calibre, whereby the additional capabilities, services and talent can continue to grow as part of the Zenzero journey. Working together, both Zenzero and Ontech are looking forward to integrating teams and sharing their knowledge, skills and experience.
