What do they do?

The company is a lifting solutions provider which specialises in moving plant and telecoms equipment. The business, which was started in 1993, provides specialist moving equipment and highly skilled operators including a dedicated health and safety officer.

The team operates seven days a week across the UK. Equipment includes aluminium cranes for specialist lifting work, lifting gantry, mobile hoists and stair climbers.

Projects include installing telecoms equipment at Twickenham Stadium for the Six Nations Tournament in 2017 to increase data capacity for spectators, moving specialised instruments for Warwick University and working on a Smart Metering programme in Manchester city centre.

Why Cyber Essentials?

The business decided to go through the Cyber Essentials certification to assure their customers and suppliers they were committed to protecting their data. The company found it was also something increasingly being asked for when tendering for business. The Cyber Essentials certificate was a way of proving their data is safe with the person who wins the contract.

Spokeswoman Alice Munro:

“It was important to us that the businesses we work with can trust the information they share with us is being properly looked after and is secure. By going through the Cyber Essentials certification process, which is a government run scheme, they know we are taking that role seriously.  I was initially worried the process would take up a lot of time and effort but Zenzero’s team made the whole process fairly painless. They supported us all the way.”
