What do they do?

Fleetworx supports organisations which need robust company car fleet management in the UK and across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Using technology and data analysis Fleetworx allows clients to manage their fleet budgets by providing focused and impartial advice to deliver a significant return on investment. Fleetworx’s solutions mean clients get the most cost effective deal from their fleet suppliers to keep their business on track and avoid transport bills spiralling out of control.

Remote Working Project

Fleetworx had been working with Zenzero Solutions before the UK lockdown to invest in their IT systems and upgrade their quality standard certification achieving ISO 27001. Fleetworx, based in Warwick, works with a wide range of organisations worldwide including pharmaceutical and healthcare, technology, consumer goods and finance. The business wanted to continue providing the high level of service to support them in terms of adding value and ensuring the cost effectiveness of their fleet management during the coronavirus crisis.

Fleetworx had already invested in and been supported by Zenzero to use collaborative online tools like Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams. This was further enhanced by a Microsoft Teams workshop event by Zenzero which demonstrated the best use of online and web-based platforms for remote working. The project was to ensure all they had in their office-based system could be accessed by staff working from home so they could provide the same first-class service to clients.

Zenzero’s role

Zenzero’s role was to make the transition for Fleetworx staff from an office-based workplace to remote working as efficient and cost effective as possible. This meant being available to help staff set up a remote working system and understand how tools like Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint can support them outside the office environment. Because Fleetworx had already invested in the technology the process was simpler for the business. The dependency on having to be in an office to continue their work was minimised by a programme of improvement that the two organisations had embarked on over a number of years. This included the online systems and tools already put in place through project work with Zenzero in the past. A VPN (Virtual Private Network) allowed employees to connect securely to their banking system and to the in-house administration infrastructure.
